Mary J. Blije、２年ぶりのアルバム。最初に聞いたとき受けた過去になく軽快な印象がアルバム全体を特徴づけている。特にのりのよい先頭の３曲のインパクトが強く、後半はスローの佳曲が続くのだが、重苦しいTrackは無く、最後までこの感触は変わらない。Feemster, "Tricky" Stewart, Stargateなどの新世代のProducerを積極的に採用したことが、この新展開に貢献しているようだ。Album Titleから感じられる悲愴感も無く、逆に痛みをプラスに変える経験と強さを感じさせてくれる。そういった意味ではMaryしか作りえないアルバムだと思う。
