The Weekndの、前作のEPをはさんで、3年半ぶりのアルバム。今の世相にマッチしたのか、チャート1位を獲得している。ちょっと猟奇的なジャケットであるが、トーンはメランコリックで耽美的/官能的な感じで、愛と孤独を唄っている。Max Martin, Oscar Holter, Metro Boomin, OPNなどに入れ替わった制作陣によるTrackは、エレクトリックなR&B / Popで、凝ったアレンジの曲がアップからスローまでバランス良く配置されている。メロディアスで切ない印象の曲が多く、ハイトーンの歌唱も相俟って、胸に訴えかけてくるところもある。
